KIM NAVARRO
Artistic Director
Kim Navarro is a Two-Time U.S. Bronze Medalists and Two-Time World Team member. She was a first alternate to the Olympics in 2010 and won the bronze medal at the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships in 2008.
As a professional skater, Kim has performed in numerous ice shows including Stars On Ice, Holiday On Ice, Broadway On Ice, Sun Valley On Ice, and Nancy Kerrigan's Halloween On Ice. She has performed with the Ice Theatre of New York and is a founding company member of Ice Dance International.
Kim and her partner Brent Bommentre, appeared in an episode of the television show Glee and competed as part of the act “Aerial Ice” on the quarter-finals of NBC’s America’s Got Talent.
Kim has her USFS Gold Medal in Dance, Freestyle, and MIF. She is a graduate of Columbia University with a degree in English and a minor in Dance. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Liberal Arts at Stanford University.
LISA NAVARRO
Creative Director
Lisa brings more than 50 years of Ice skating experience to this project.
Lisa competed and performed as an elite pair skater in competitions, professional ice shows and televised skating specials. She was a principal skater and Associate Choreographer for many of the beloved Charles Schulz Christmas shows in Santa Rosa.
During her long career Lisa has helped direct and choreograph skating shows and special skating projects for Snoopy’s Home Ice, Woodstock Ice Productions, California’s Great America and Aerial Ice Extreme.
CARMEN MITCHELL
Executive Director
AEA Actor | Singer | Dancer | Figure Skater
Carmen grew up as a competitive figure skater and ballet dancer. She now works as a professional singer and actor in both New York and California. Her body of artistic work includes many leading roles in musicals, short films, commercials, web-series, voice overs, concerts, and professional ice shows.
Carmen performed as a principal skater on a National Tour of Disney on Ice where she debuted the role of the “Live Host”.
Carmen is the Founder Redwood Theatre Company bringing original projects and social justice pieces to the community.
She is also the co-founder for FTA Productions Company & the Director of the FTA Protest Art Series.
ANTONIA MITCHELL
Remote Project Director
Antonia grew up in the Bay Area as a competitive figure skate and ballet dancer.
She has performed as a principal skater with Disney on Ice for over seven years. Her roles include: Moana, Princess Jasmine, Belle, Snow White, Ariel, Anna and Elsa from Frozen, Cinderella, and countless other understudies. Antonia was also the Ladies Line Captain
Antonia danced as a soloist at the Academy of Ballet in San Francisco and Santa Rosa Dance Theatre.
She also studied with the Alonzo King Lines Contemporary Ballet program at Dominican University.
MICHAEL HELGREN
Remote Project Director
Michael Helgren is a National competitor and has worked as a principal ice show skater for over 10 years.
Michael has skated for Cirque du Soleil, Disney on Ice, Holiday on Ice, Cruise Ships, Great America Theme Park and Snoopy's Home Ice.
Michael is also a competitor on America's Got Talent along with Carmen Mitchell.
BOB GOODWIN
Remote Project Director
Originally from Canada, Bob grew up as a competitive pair skater.
He has skated as a principal performer with Disney on Ice for over seven years. His roles include Aladdin, Prince Charming, Hans & Kristoff from Frozen, Prince Eric and Prince Philip.
Bob also works as a personal trainer and fitness instructor.
KAREN KRESGE
Honorary Member
In a world of professional ice shows, Karen Kresge‘s reputation for excellence is unmatched.
A skating superstar in her own right as a headliner, starting alongside Peggy Fleming with Ice Follies for a decade, she successfully translated her training and talent into the roles of choreographer, director and producer of spectacular ice shows.
For over 35 years, Karen has created original, imaginative and glittering entertainment on ice for thousands of happy spectators in arenas and theme parks across America, Europe and Canada.
She was the Creative Director and Choreographer for Holiday On Ice, European tours of “Spirit” (choreographer) and “Festival” (Creative Director & Choreographer).
Karen was the founding director and choreographer of Scott Hamilton‘s U.S. National Tours of “Stars on Ice" and "Symphony on Ice", "The Nutcracker, A Fantasy On Ice", starring Robin Cousins and Dorothy Hamill
She also created many Ice shows productions for this late “Peanuts" cartoonist, Charles M. Schultz and his family during the 25 years of their close collaboration and friendship.
ADELE MITCHELL
Artistic Advisor
Adele has spent most of her career working as an educator in Santa Rosa City Schools. Adele is an Award Winning Teacher.
Adele is also the Founder and was the Executive Director of Santa Rosa Dance Theatre where she produced Full-Length Nutcracker ballet productions and several other Spring performances for 13 seasons.
