Joseph Favalora
Joseph Favalora is honored to be apart of RTC as the Chief Resident Choreographer. Joseph has been dancing since age four, and competitively since age six.
He has won hundreds of awards for his skilled dance including: Mister Dance of New England, Junior Mr. Dance of America, and East Coast Junior Ballroom Champion. He has taught master classes in many venues including the Boston Conservatory of Music (the Modern Dance department) as well on the faculty of New Dance Group (NDG) of New York City.
He is the recent recipient of two San Francisco Bay Area Theater Critic Circle Awards for excellence in choreography. Those shows included: Cinnabar’s Fiddler on the Roof and 6th Street Playhouse's Thoroughly Modern Millie.
His professional Broadway credits span 15 years and include, Beauty and the Beast, Cathy Rigby’s Peter Pan, National Tour of Cats (Mr. Mistoffelees), and Baby John in the international tour of West Side Story.
Joseph graduated with Highest Honors from Santa Rosa Junior College’s Theatre Arts Program. He is driven by his life-long love of performing arts and his goal to one day create an original work that will be performed throughout the world.
