Carmen Maria Mitchell
Founder / Executive Director
Carmen is the Founder and Executive Director of Redwood Theatre Company, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to bringing professional theatrical productions and educational programs to Sonoma County, CA. She also spearheads FTA (For The Art) Productions, working alongside a collective of passionate filmmakers & multimedia artists. Their mission is to produce meaningful art and share powerful stories that amplifying voices in the community. Carmen studied Performing Arts and Social Justice at the University of San Francisco, where she cultivated her passion for arts outreach and activism. Carmen is the Co-Founder of the SOL Community Arts outreach organization, providing intentional programming and scholarships to vulnerable youth. This initiative aims to make performance and visual art more accessible to children in underserved communities as a form of violence prevention. Carmen is passionate about using the arts as a tool for social change, fostering creativity, and nurturing resilience among young people. Her commitment to arts activism is reflected in her advocacy for inclusivity and community empowerment within her projects. She actively engages in social justice outreach initiatives, using her platform to uplift marginalized voices and advocate for meaningful change. Through partnerships with local organizations, Carmen leads projects that address issues of inequality and injustice, empowering individuals to tell their stories and advocate for their rights. With a deep passion for the arts and activism, Carmen looks forward to the opportunities that lie ahead, eager to continue collaborating with kindred artists and organizations to create impactful and meaningful work.
Kim Navarro
Ice Theatre Skating Director
Kim Navarro is a Two-Time U.S. Bronze Medalists and Two-Time World Team member. She was a first alternate to the Olympics in 2010 and won the bronze medal at the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships in 2008. As a professional skater, Kim has performed in numerous ice shows including Stars On Ice, Holiday On Ice, Broadway On Ice, Sun Valley On Ice, and Nancy Kerrigan's Halloween On Ice. She has performed with the Ice Theatre of New York and is a founding company member of Ice Dance International. Kim and her partner Brent Bommentre, appeared in an episode of the television show Glee and competed as part of the act “Aerial Ice” on the quarter-finals of NBC’s America’s Got Talent. Kim has her USFS Gold Medal in Dance, Freestyle, and MIF. She is a graduate of Columbia University with a degree in English and a minor in Dance. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Liberal Arts at Stanford University. Kim is now the Skating Director and coach at Snoopy's Home Ice!
Ken Urso

Ken Urso is an international director, actor, producer and teaching artist. He served as the Director of Professional Development and on the MFA Directing faculty at the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School, home of Bravo's Inside the Actors Studio, where he produced a series that interviews such guests as Alec Baldwin, Bradley Cooper, Ellen Burstyn, and Lonny Price, among others. He has taught courses and workshops for The City University of New York, Pacific University, Gonzaga University, Pace University, Colby College and at the Kennedy Center. In 2014, Ken directed the world premiere of the opera The House of Murgatroyd which opened at the International Gilbert and Sullivan Festival in Harrogate, England. Regional directing credits include tick, tick… BOOM!, Mamma Mia!, The Producers, Chicago, Always… Patsy Cline, among others. NYC directing credits include Worth House, Kidnapping Laura Linney, Red Light Winter and Fallen Angels. Ken produced the award-winning play Gay Camp, which ran for years at the Duplex Theater in the heart of NYC's Greenwich Village, and also toured the nation. Daniel Gutierrez

Dan Gutierrez is a performer and choreographer originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but called New York City home for 15 years. After graduating with his BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point, he moved to NYC and the very next day booked the Broadway National Tour of Chicago, the longest running American musical. He performed with the company for five years, working with some of Broadway's biggest celebrities such as John O’ Hurley, Michelle Williams from Destiny’s Child, Brandy, Christie Brinkley, Tom Wopat, Sophia Vergara, Bebe Neuwirth, and more. He toured the world performing all over the U.S., Canada, Thailand, Tokyo and Dubai. He then made his Broadway debut with the production in 2017, eventually understudying the lead role prior to moving to the west coast. Dan has been seen on TV as a guest performer on ABC's “The View” for the Barbara Walters return special featuring Mario Cantone, on NBC for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with the Goo Goo Dolls, and on CBS where he danced along Bebe Neuwirth to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of Chicago. You may have also seen him on CBS's “The Price is Right” when he won the Showcase Showdown in 2011. Regional credits include Mary Poppins, Starlight Express, Thoroughly Modern Millie, West Side Story, and more. He currently calls Sebastopol, California home and is excited to be pursuing his next adventure. @dannygcreative
Jeremy Greenbaum

Broadway Actor, Copywriter and Brand-builder. Jeremy Greenbaum is an American stage and screen actor and director based in New York City. He is known for his work on Broadway in Disney's Newsies (Davey), and off-Broadway in The Fantasticks (Matt/Mute), A Letter to Harvey Milk (Yussl/Plotkin Jr.), Tamar of the River (Shelah), and Saturday Night (Dino).
Bob Goodwin
Operation/Financial Officer
Originally from Canada, Bob grew up as a competitive pair skater. He has skated as a principal performer with Disney on Ice for over seven years. His roles include Aladdin, Prince Charming, Hans & Kristoff from Frozen, Prince Eric and Prince Philip. Bob also works as a personal trainer and fitness instructor.

Marcus Ward was the director of several dance companies in the North Bay and is the Co-Founder of the media production company FTA Productions along with Carmen Maria Mitchell.
Hiro Sogi

Hiro was born in the Nagano Prefecture of Japan, and came to came to California alongside his parents in the early 2000s. With a French trained chef/sommelier for a father, he was exposed to a diversity rich, food and wine centric lifestyle. To him, wine carries a sentimental value surrounded by memories of family, laughter, and great food.

Lisa Navarro
Ice Theatre Artistic Director
Lisa brings more than 50 years of Ice skating experience to this project. Lisa competed and performed as an elite pair skater in competitions, professional ice shows and televised skating specials. She was a principal skater and Associate Choreographer for many of the beloved Charles Schulz Christmas shows in Santa Rosa. During her long career Lisa has helped direct and choreograph skating shows and special skating projects for Snoopy’s Home Ice, Woodstock Ice Productions, California’s Great America and Aerial Ice Extreme.
Adele Davalos Mitchell
SOL Community Arts Director
Adele Davalos Mitchell is an Award Winning Teacher and has spent most of her career working as an educator in Santa Rosa City Schools. She is now the Founder and Director of the SOL Club Community Arts Outreach Program. Brining art and performance to the underserved youth of color in our community. Adele was the Founder and Executive Director of Santa Rosa Dance Theatre where she produced Full-Length Nutcracker ballet productions and several other Spring performances for 13 seasons.
Danny Gorman

Danny has worked as a director, choreographer, and theater arts educator throughout the United States and abroad for the past decade. He recently served as the Associate Director for the Tony Award-winning production of A Christmas Carol in San Francisco. Danny directed the world premiere of Transformation: Personal Stories of Change, Acceptance, and Evolution at Jazz at Lincoln Center starring Glenn Close, Christian Slater, and Wayne Brady, with original jazz music by Grammy Award-winner Ted Nash. He Assistant Directed the Broadway and West End revivals of Sunset Boulevard also starring Close, Man of La Mancha starring Kelsey Grammer, and Carousel starring Alfie Boe, all at the English National Opera, as well as Scotland, PA at the Roundabout Theatre Company and Sinatra: Voice for a Century at the New York Philharmonic. He served as an artistic consultant for Lincoln Center curating a series of events called Lincoln Center Originals which debuted original content inspired by the Lincoln Center campus. Danny has worked at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, New York University, Arizona Broadway Theatre, the CRY HAVOC Company, United Solo, FringeNYC, NAMT, and Broadway For All. Joseph Favalora
Chief Resident Choreographer
Joseph Favalora is honored to be apart of RTC as the Chief Resident Choreographer. Joseph has been dancing since age four, and competitively since age six. Joseph's professional Broadway credits span 15 years and include, Beauty and the Beast, Cathy Rigby’s Peter Pan, National Tour of Cats (Mr. Mistoffelees), and Baby John in the international tour of West Side Story. He has won hundreds of awards for his skilled dance including: Mister Dance of New England, Junior Mr. Dance of America, and East Coast Junior Ballroom Champion. He has taught master classes in many venues including the Boston Conservatory of Music (the Modern Dance department) as well on the faculty of New Dance Group (NDG) of New York City. He is the recent recipient of two San Francisco Bay Area Theater Critic Circle Awards for excellence in choreography. Those shows included: Cinnabar’s Fiddler on the Roof and 6th Street Playhouse's Thoroughly Modern Millie. Joseph graduated with Highest Honors from Santa Rosa Junior College’s Theatre Arts Program. He is driven by his life-long love of performing arts and his goal to one day create an original work that will be performed throughout the world. Much love and thanks goes to his partner Dr. J. Joel graduated from the CA State University of Monterey Bay, with a B.A. in Psychology. Joel’s love of music and the arts, led him to RTC, where he now works alongside the stage hands as the Crew Manager.

Dom is an accomplished Direcotr and Cinematographer. - "I’m just a nerd with a passion and a drive for the art of storytelling. There are many ways of telling a story. Filmmaking is just my vice to be able to convey emotion, and to help tell what needs to be told. I’m always expanding my horizons and experiencing something new. Whatever the production may be, big or small, I will be more than happy to hop on set and work towards the common goal that we believe in.
